Our Mission
The word ‘Khatala” is derived from a Zulu word meaning ‘care’. Our core value is therefore to ensure that all pooches, from the most petite poppet to the biggest, boofy boys, can feel safe, loved and relaxed in a caring home-style environment, and where they are guaranteed an abundance of individualised attention.

Khatala Pet Lodge is the first of it’s kind, a new and unique style dog boarding facility for Perth and surrounding areas. Our boutique style, luxury Lodge has been purpose built and developed on a 5 acre stretch of land in a relaxed, rural setting just outside Mandurah; and easily accessible from Perth or the South West

We offer state-of-the-art facilities featuring 18 luxury suites. Each suite has a large daybed with plush bedding, underfloor heating, reverse cycle ducted aircon, television and an IP camera allowing Pet Parents to check in on their fur kid/s 24/7. Daily enrichment activities, playtimes, brush and cuddle sessions as well as daily photo and/or video updates are provided at no extra cost.
